Job Description

Title: Go To Market Manager (Communications, Manufacturing and General Salesforce SME) 

Description: 

Appirio is looking for an experienced Go-to-Market Manager who will own the marketing strategy and outbound marketing activities for Appirio’s Communications and Manufacturing verticals and serve as subject matter expert across the Salesforce ecosystem.  This role will work cross-functionally to conceive and develop innovative marketing programs and drive demand.  As the GTM Manager, you will serve as the keystone across marketing, sales and the consulting field helping to drive Appirio brand awareness, growth and pipeline.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Ownership of Communications and Manufacturing practices 
  • Develop and collaborate on go-to-market plans with appropriate stakeholders including Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales, Product & Innovation and additional teams 
  • Build marketing strategies and manage outbound marketing activities that help drive market awareness and thought leadership 
  • Partner with Sales to arm them with necessary enablement tools to promote new products, solutions and sales plays  
  • Provide subject matter expertise support by generating relevant industry specific assets such as whitepapers and blogs 
  • Develop and drive account-based marketing initiatives to help influence and/or source practice pipeline bookings 
  • Project manage all relevant campaigns and initiatives 
  • Lead event messaging and overall strategies for all virtual and in-person events/activations 
  • Work with Alliance team to develop positioning and content plans to support Channel needs 
  • Work on research and development efforts with Strategy leads for thought leadership 
  • Understanding of Salesforce dashboard reporting, and ability to generate recommendations based on metrics 
  • Collect and use market intelligence – be the subject matter expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria while keeping tabs on the competitive marketplace 
  • Work with Sales, Wipro SBUs and other channel leaders to understand the needs, wants and point of views throughout all sales cycles 

Education and Required Experience

  • B.S. degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience   
  • 3-5 years of relevant practice experience  
  • 3-5 years of relevant Salesforce experience 
  • Comprehension of Cloud computing 
  • Understanding of Salesforce ecosystem  
  • Admin. Certified a plus 
  • Demonstrated campaign development experience 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments while managing multiple tasks 
  • Strong writing, organizational and analytical skills 
  • Ability to focus on detail and ensure quality outputs 
  • Project Management experience a plus 
  • Salesforce and Admin certifications a plus 
  • Ability to travel 20-25%
